Mixed reviews, but generally very good
Some of the most interesting reviews about Smile 2 are the following:
“Screenwriter and director Parker Finn presents us with a more terrifying and bloodier sequel to Smile. The intensity does not diminish throughout the entire film and leaves you exhausted (in a good way) at the end” —Lupe R Haas, Cinemovie

“Raises the stakes in terms of size but frightens with diminishing returns, especially because it essentially tells the same story as the original. Smile was compact, tidy, and creepy; Smile 2 is overblown, loud, and, in the end, a bit silly” —Frank Swietek, One Guys Opinion
“Without a doubt, it’s a must-see movie! Endless brutality and moments that will leave you speechless! Naomi Scott’s performance is spectacular. I need Smile 3 NOW!” —Nagier Chambers, Big Gold Belt Media

“Disorienting, convincing, and often mean-spirited, Smile 2 is the kind of movie that will make genre enthusiasts grin from ear to ear and everyone else try to hide behind their popcorn” —Anthony O’Connor, Filmink
