Every time you visit an amusement park and, besides screaming the loudest on the rides, you always think how much you would love to create one. RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is coming, a game that combines the best of the first two titles of the famous series, and is set for a physical release on Nintendo Switch on April 24. This release, which promises to attract both nostalgia fans and new players, is already available for pre-order on Amazon. By doing so, players secure a minimum price, as the lowest discount will be applied if the game is reduced in price before its release. Additionally, no charge will be made until the game is shipped.
That roller coaster doesn’t have enough loops
Since its release on PC and mobile devices in 2016, RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic has received positive reviews, standing out for its unique blend of management and simulation, allowing players to build, customize, and manage their own theme park. This version includes 95 challenges taken from the first two games, as well as the expansion packs Toolkit, Wacky Worlds, and Time Twister. Players will be able to enjoy both the creative freedom in park building and the structured scenarios that the game offers.
This will not be the first RollerCoaster Tycoon game available on Switch; players can also opt for RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures: Deluxe Edition, which, while offering a more modern experience with cartoonish graphics and a greater variety of attractions, lacks the depth of the classic. Additionally, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition is available, released by Limited Run Games, which includes all its additional content.
While they wait for the arrival of RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic, simulation fans can explore other titles in the genre to pass the time until next month’s release.
