Nintendo refreshed Nintendo Music on June 26, 2026. The update adds Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise to the app’s catalog for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, bringing in 25 tracks and 43 minutes of music.
Those songs come from Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise, the paid DLC that launched on November 5, 2021. In it, players join Lottie’s Paradise Planning team and build vacation homes and community facilities. The main Animal Crossing: New Horizons soundtrack was already on Nintendo Music, so this plugs the last big hole and rounds out the game’s full catalog on the service.
If Animal Crossing music is already part of your regular rotation, this one’s an easy add to the queue. For fans, the bigger draw is that Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Happy Home Paradise finishes off one of Nintendo’s biggest modern soundtracks. It also brings a Lottie-themed playlist, which suits the DLC’s calm, design-focused mood.
It’s also one more sign of how Nintendo is using weekly drops to make Nintendo Music feel like a real extra for its 38 million Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, according to Nintendo. That carries a little more weight with a game that had sold nearly 50 million copies by early 2026, based on Nintendo’s own sales figures, even if the app still doesn’t do a great job of properly crediting composers and musicians.
Nintendo Music comes at no extra charge with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The app launched on October 31, 2024, and after its June 1, 2026 expansion, it now supports web playback, tablets, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
