Adobe has taken advantage of its Adobe MAX event to showcase some of the latest innovations. One of the most notable was its Firefly Video model, capable of generating video through artificial intelligence. This was presented alongside another Premiere Pro feature, Generative Extend, which allows clips to be “extended” using AI. However, there is much, much more to come.
One of them, Project Perfect Blend, enhances blurring and makes shadow projection more realistic in images. On the other hand, Project Clean Machine will help us remove camera flashes, fireworks, and any other objects that block the camera’s view. Both would be available in the future for Photoshop.
For videos, Adobe has shown us a bit of Project In Motion. This feature allows us to animate shapes and figures by describing what we want. Then we have Project Know How, which, through biometric markers like our fingerprint or even watermarks, allows us to quickly trace the origins of a video back to the original source.
Designers will find Project Turntable very interesting, as it lets us rotate 2D vector art as if it were a 3D figure. In audio’s case, we have Project Super Sonic. Just like with images and videos, we can generate sound effects with AI by describing what we want. We can also click on an object in a video and have the sound generated automatically, without typing anything.
On the other hand, Project Scenic allows us to design 3D scenarios through descriptions and then transfer that to 2D. This enables us to control the camera and adjust any element of the project before rendering it into a flat image. Another feature that will be very useful for artists is Project Remix A Lot, which transforms sketches into polished designs. Lastly, we have Project Hi-Fi, which allows us to capture any part of our screen and use it as a guide to quickly create high-quality AI-generated images.
