Now, with the open software of this collaboration, Amazon aims to be more versatile than ever.
Improvement in content delivery to Fire TV
Fire TV is a software with many followers and detractors. And among the detractors, one of the most widespread criticisms is its lack of applications or services compared to other competing systems. However, with this alliance between Amazon and Matter, recently announced at CES Las Vegas, the service will be quickly improved. Its name: Matter Casting.
Matter Casting is the service with which Fire TV users will have an improved way of sending content to the television, with superior compatibilities than what was available currently. In addition, Matter Casting will not only work on Fire TV televisions, but also on Echo Show 15 devices.

Today, more than ever, markets are starting to notice differences among the audience, not only in the range of televisions they are looking for, but also in specific operating systems. That is why Amazon is making an effort to make Fire TV more attractive, and with the Matter Connect service, they are opening up to a more complete service.
Televisions have evolved by leaps and bounds in the last decade, both in terms of technology and budget. Nowadays, it is easy to find 4K televisions with HDR technology even as entry-level and mid-range options, for less than 500 euros, something unthinkable a few years ago.
