Claude’s Research mode, now in beta, turns it into a dedicated research assistant capable of multi-step searches. It pulls from internal documents and online sources, delivering detailed, citation-backed results. How to try the update
The Google Workspace integration is in beta for all paid Claude plans, while Research mode is limited to Max, Team, and Enterprise users in the U.S., Japan, and Brazil. To test it, users need to enable Research mode in settings and connect Workspace access via profile settings. Admins may need to approve access for team-level plans.
