It was about time: Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, the mobile version of the successful Call of Duty: Warzone, will be coming soon to our devices on March 21st. Just a few days before its release, a post has been made public within the App Store confirming the inclusion of a new exclusive graphic mode for Apple devices.
Specifically, users of iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and iPad with M1 chip (or later) will benefit from this improvement. Alexandre Bergeron, Activision’s mobile technology director, states that this new graphics mode, called Peak Graphics, “allows players to run Warzone Mobile at 2K resolution and further enhances texture caching and resolution.”
In the note, it is also explained that the game will have an improved draw distance, more detailed foliage, reflection mapping, and ambient occlusion, among other effects.
According to what we can read on its official website, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will include a new cross-progression feature. This will allow players to level up their weapons and earn shared XP from the Battle Pass, as well as share selected weapons and operators. Warzone Mobile also claims to have the highest number of live players, at least within the mobile FPS Battle Royale genre.
