Lily Collins marked the end of filming on Instagram from Place de l’Estrapade, calling it “surreal and bittersweet” and thanking creator Darren Star, her co-stars, the crew, and fans for “7 years and 6 seasons.”
Star is back for the final run, along with Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Minnie Driver, and Paul Forman.
By Netflix’s count, the series has come a long way since 2020, from 58 million households for season 1 in its first 28 days to 13.5 million views for season 5 in just four days. In that stretch it became comfort TV, sparked fashion buzz, tie-ins, and tourism, and also drew criticism in France for its stereotypes and its polished, idealized version of the city.
