If there is something inevitable, it is that games as a service continue to invent new ways to keep players hooked. Called Season 1 Reloaded, the intention is to bring new content between seasons to both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone. With that purpose, significant changes will be introduced to the maps, game modes, and of course, a new event, new skins, and new weapons.
The scheduled release date for this Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded is next Wednesday, January 17th at 6 PM, Spanish Peninsula time. One hour earlier in the Canary Islands. If previous seasons’ experience is any indication, it is expected that the update files will be uploaded at least 24 hours in advance. For Modern Warfare 3 players, there will be several changes. To begin with, there will be three new multiplayer modes: Team Gunfight, Headquarters, and Infected. To take advantage of them, they will introduce a new map, Rio, inspired by the famous Brazilian commercial district. In addition, it will come accompanied by a collaboration with the series The Boys, which will have its own game mode and a particular event, which will include an operator skin, and a new Warlord called Dokkaebi for the game’s zombie mode.
Meanwhile, Warzone fans won’t go hungry either. Adding a new quest that will require 30 victories just to start it, a small twist to the Gulag, and a new item and escape route, in addition to the two weapons that arrive in both games: the HRM-9 and the TAQ Evolvere.
