Hyundai has taken significant steps to provide stability for consumers in the U.S. automotive market by launching its new Customer Assurance program, ensuring that there will be no price hikes on its vehicles from April 4 until June 2, 2025.
This initiative comes in response to rising consumer concerns about price fluctuations amid ongoing economic uncertainties.
Hyundai’s CEO, José Muñoz, emphasized the company’s commitment to offering peace of mind, stating, “We know consumers are uncertain about the potential for rising prices, and we want to provide them with some stability in the coming months”.
Hyundai Launches Customer Assurance Program to Offset Price Hikes Until 2025
The announcement arrives on the heels of a record-breaking March for Hyundai’s sales in the U.S., despite new tariffs impacting imports from South Korea. Recently, the automaker pledged a substantial investment of $21 billion aimed at enhancing its operations in the U.S. and promoting the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
Notably, this includes the grand opening of the $12.6 billion Metaplant America in Georgia, touted as the largest economic development project in the state’s history, with a potential production capacity of up to 500,000 vehicles annually.
Hyundai is already manufacturing its 2025 IONIQ 5 at the new plant, which features significant upgrades, including an estimated range of up to 318 miles and compatibility with Tesla Superchargers via an NACS port.
The upcoming IONIQ 9, Hyundai’s first three-row electric SUV, is also nearing its U.S. launch, promising a spacious interior and substantial cargo space of up to 1,322 liters.
Consumers may find attractive leasing options, with the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 available from just $199 per month, potentially marking it as one of the most appealing electric vehicle deals in the current market. As the automotive landscape continues to evolve, Hyundai appears determined to lead the charge in both innovation and consumer confidence.
