Following the release of iOS 27.2, Apple has begun testing iOS 27.3, an update that includes several major changes to Siri, Safari, and the Health app. This first developer beta includes several of the most anticipated features of iOS 27, along with several new features focused on the iPhone Duo.
Siri and Health take a major leap
The Health app returns with a complete redesign along with the Insights and Longevity sections, which bring together our activity, sleep, and heart data. After disappearing late in the iOS 27.2 beta, we can now receive personalized recommendations and better understand our physical progress.
Siri AI also comes with a long list of new features. On devices and in regions where Siri AI is supported, we can now ask it to organize files, manage Safari tabs, or act in Mail and Calendar. Most importantly, however, Siri Rewind and Siri Recap are arriving on the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4. With these features we can view a transcript of our conversations and save it in the Siri app for future reference.
Safari, customization, and a few more surprises
Safari now has vertical tabs and an adaptive dark mode for web pages that don’t offer it and the StandBy mode now includes new faces and customization options that until now were exclusive to the iPhone Duo.
Apple has added the Selfie Sing feature in Apple Music to record karaoke videos, strength plans to Fitness+, and the easy-reach feature to the iPhone Duo. For a first beta, this is a remarkably full-featured update that, without a doubt, will continue to evolve before its official release in a few weeks.
