Microsoft Planner will have a new interface at any moment, as has been revealed through a leak on social media. In fact, as can be seen, there is an ambitious redesign in which Copilot will be integrated into the system to enhance the service quality
Microsoft has among its main short-term objectives to continue strengthening its work ecosystem to compete with other services like Google and third-party companies specialized in specific productivity areas. Therefore, the Planner will be Microsoft’s next step to make headway in this market.
Planning with Copilot
In an extensive nearly 2-minute trailer, many details about the redesign of Microsoft Planner have been revealed. It will be focused on real-time task coordination with numerous options for sorting and organization. Furthermore, as we mentioned, Copilot will make an appearance to provide Artificial Intelligence support.
Thus, Copilot would have a new ecosystem to merge into within Microsoft. In fact, it is becoming increasingly evident that Copilot’s work is distinct from that of other Artificial Intelligences like ChatGPT, as, although it is also dialogue-based to provide answers, its focus is clearly on business and is designed to enhance productivity.
The new productivity ecosystem of Microsoft
There is no doubt that Microsoft is taking the battle in the field of workplace-focused applications seriously. Ever since they announced Copilot and began implementing it in various applications and programs, there have been constant updates regarding the work they are carrying out in this field.
An example of this is the possibility of Copilot assisting in meetings to summarize their content through Teams. Another is the support through Outlook, and one that has been in place for months is its presence in Microsoft Edge, the Windows-native browser. The changes they are making are quite evident, and soon we will discover the level of acceptance of these new tools in the workplace.
