Hooded Horse and Slavic Magic must be thrilled with the reception that their latest major production, Manor Lords, has received. The studio confirmed just a few hours ago that the game’s sales have surpassed one million copies. Considering that this figure was achieved in just one weekend and that it is also available on Xbox Game Pass, the milestone is even more incredible.
According to the information provided by the study, during this first weekend up to 170,000 players enjoyed Manor Lords simultaneously. This is the highest number ever recorded for a city builder, colony sim, 4x or GSG. To top it off, it should be added that the game has not had a final release, but rather it has been released in Early Access, meaning it is still far from being finished.
It has been the publisher Hooded Horse who has provided all these statistics, as well as an impressive figure of over three million wishlists on Steam. The number is extremely high and not many games can openly say that they have achieved this “wishlist”, which has now translated into over one million copies sold.
From Slavic Magic, a developer studio, they aim to continue working hard to polish the game as much as possible. It has been over seven years of development… with more than satisfactory results.
