If you are one of those who have an iPhone and you like video games, it is most likely that you are already aware of the Delta emulator. At the beginning of this month of April, the emulator arrived at the Apple Store in a completely legal way – as is obvious – for iPhone devices. In a matter of days, Delta positioned itself among the top positions of the Apple Store, a position it still holds today. This hegemony is already important, but everything points to it going even further: now it also arrives on iPad.
Riley Testut, developer of this emulator, has commented that the version for Apple tablets is “close to completion”, and it will be released when update 1.6 is available in the store. In this regard, Testut points out that the application is already available for his Patreon followers.
Needless to say, obviously, Delta can be used on iPad right now, but not with a native version for the device. Therefore, with the release of this version, there would be a fully focused on iPad one, something that may seem trivial, but that would allow players to view the entire image on a big screen.

Testut has commented that the next major update – after this one – will have multiplayer as a key feature. So far, multiplayer is introduced, but only executed from one device. The developer’s idea is to enable multiplayer between devices, meaning each player with an iPhone independently.
To wrap up, the creator of Delta has also mentioned that the SEGA Mega Drive emulator is very close, so close that it is currently in beta. We just have to wait for it to be released, but be patient: the iPad version will arrive first.
