Marvel’s rumored Project Comet, an unannounced Marvel game, is starting to take shape thanks to a new batch of leaks. Reports tied to leaker MultiverSusie, along with follow-up coverage, point to mobile-first co-op action RPG. Players would reportedly jump into squad-based missions with collectible Marvel heroes, in a game already being compared to Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Genshin Impact.
Going by the leaked details, the setup is said to include gacha pulls, character upgrades, replayable content, multiple difficulty levels, and the kind of long-term, reward-driven progression you’d expect from a live-service mobile game. Follow-up coverage has also linked Scopely to the rumored project. Scopely is the company behind Marvel Strike Force, Monopoly GO, and Star Trek Fleet Command, which helps explain why the response has been so mixed.
Some fans are into the idea of a Marvel co-op action game on mobile. Others are already bracing for paywalls, grind-heavy progression, and heroes getting locked behind bad drop rates or limited-time banners.
The leaked material reportedly includes character models, animations, voice lines, UI assets, and gameplay details. Captain America, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Elektra, Juggernaut, and Silver Samurai are all said to be on the roster, alongside comparisons to Marvel Rivals and claims in the coverage that artists connected to Marvel Rivals may be involved too.
If you’ve been waiting for a Marvel co-op RPG on your phone, this looks like one to watch, assuming the rumored project is real. Still, it’s smart to stay cautious for now, since neither Marvel Games nor Scopely has confirmed a title, release date, trailer, or launch window. Reports say Project Comet is planned for iOS and Android, if it does exist, but there’s nothing available to download yet.
