Like every year, Blizzard releases around this time an update dedicated to celebrating April Fools, also known as April Fools’ Day. It is a gesture highly appreciated by the community and that usually brings very fun changes to the game. The most recognized ones are the bulging eyes and the phrases, but there are also changes in the abilities.
And Overwatch is going to change a lot in the coming weeks. Blizzard is already preparing the release of the Season 10 update, which will be accompanied by the new hero Venture and the removal of battle pass restrictions. As expected, there will also be major changes in the game’s meta.
When installing the April 1st patch, the first thing players will see when starting Overwatch 2 is the new Arcade mode in Balanced Overwatch. The characters’ abilities also change, and one that has caught the most attention is Mauga. The revamped version of Mauga has reduced his health from 350 to 25 and his scale has been reduced by 50%.
On the other hand, the Biotic Grasp of Moira has also been modified and the functionalities of the primary and secondary Biotic Orb have been changed. Mercy players will see that their Caduceus Pistol has been removed while the Caduceus Staff has undergone a lot of changes.
