The Google Pixel 11 Pro is out and available now, but early user reports point to a video audio bug. Posts on Reddit, Google’s support forums, and several tech sites describe sudden static or crackling in clips, especially when Google’s Video Boost feature is turned on.
If it’s happening on your phone, it doesn’t look like an isolated fluke. The same complaints say the issue can show up in standard recordings too, across different resolutions and frame rates, which makes this sound more like a broader software problem than a one-off hardware fault. That’s especially frustrating because Video Boost is supposed to use cloud processing to improve lighting, color, dynamic range, and stabilization.
Users have floated a few theories. One of the main ones is that Google’s Audio Zoom may be involved, and several people say turning it off or clearing the Google Camera app cache can reduce the problem, though not for everyone. Google still hasn’t publicly acknowledged the bug or given any timeline for a fix, and all of this is landing alongside other early reports about gaming performance problems and graphical glitches.
