The Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration Figure Collection hits the US on November 6, 2026, with two separate collector boxes built around Mew and Mewtwo for the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
If the new designs catch you off guard, they aren’t permanent character redesigns. These are stylized takes made for the figures themselves. The Mew box and the Mewtwo box are sold for $29.99 each, not as a bundle, and each one comes with an exclusive foil promo card for its featured Pokémon, an oversized foil card, a sculpted figure, and five Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs.
The two figures don’t go for the same mood, either. Mew is playful, light, and a little whimsical, floating above flowers. Mewtwo leans darker and more severe, framed by jagged crystal elements. That difference gives the boxes their own identity as collector pieces. Taro Murai sculpted Mew, Daichi F. Sugimoto handled Mewtwo, and Kaiyodo produced both figures.
These boxes plug into the larger Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration expansion that launched in September 2026, which has already drawn attention for its 30 Pikachu cards, the day-and-night artwork gimmick, Future rares, and Special Illustration Rare cards such as Mew ex and Mewtwo ex. So if Mew or Mewtwo is your favorite, this anniversary release looks like an easy one to pick up. The bigger promotional push around it is still a little uneven, though. Pokémon FireRed and Pokémon LeafGreen on Nintendo Switch, retailer tie-ins, and promo-card campaigns are much clearer in North America and Japan than they are in Europe or Latin America, and it’s still hard to say what any of this will mean competitively.
