Renegade Game Studios has a Dungeon Crawler Carl release lined up for November 2026, and it’s a Princess Donut dice set for the Dungeon Crawler Carl Roleplaying Game, not a new book.
So if you were hoping for another novel, dial that back a little. What’s coming in November 2026 is a deep-purple Princess Donut accessory, part of a line that has brought in more than $13 million on BackerKit, according to Renegade Game Studios’ campaign page. The set includes seven semitransparent resin dice, a d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and two d20s, plus a poker-chip d2. It’s priced at $25 in the US and about £22 in the UK.
For people who follow the series, this looks like an easy collectible pickup. The bigger addition, though, is the 300-plus-page RPG itself, which Renegade Game Studios says covers Floors 3 to 5 and includes character creation, classes, 30-plus races, skills, spells, loot, monsters, 24-plus sessions, and the choice to play either original Crawlers or Carl, Donut, and Katia.
There’s more on the way too: Smush dice, the solo/co-op card game Unstoppable, and the Iron Tangle Expansion. Princess Donut, sharp-tongued and fiercely loyal, is still one of the series’ favorites, and the franchise keeps spreading through A Parade of Horribles, The Beautiful Place, and Peacock’s adaptation, where Jeff Hays voices her.
The set will hit retailers alongside the RPG in November 2026.
