Rivian R1T and R1S owners can now enhance their outdoor adventures with a rooftop tent specifically designed for their electric vehicles.
The tent, created in partnership with camping gear manufacturer iKamper, is the Skycap 3.0 Mini, which features a sleek aerodynamic design aimed at reducing drag, alongside a customized Rivian color palette.
This special edition tent is available for pre-order at a price of $4,595, and the first customers will receive a complimentary iKamper Disco Series Stove for outdoor cooking.

For those looking for added convenience while camping, Rivian also offers a Travel Kitchen that can prepare meals on a two-burner induction stovetop that fits on the R1T’s open tailgate.
Although a more advanced Camp Kitchen prototype was showcased during the truck’s media launch, it has yet to see production. Rivian’s concerted effort to delight outdoor enthusiasts is further exemplified by their showcase of rooftop tents at various media events, perhaps to establish the Skycap 3.0 Mini as the go-to accessory for off-road-capable electric vehicles.
In conjunction with these camping enhancements, Rivian is upgrading its Adventure Network, which includes charging stations tailored for electric vehicle users.
The network will soon feature more powerful DC fast chargers and amenity-rich sites that are accessible to all EVs. Additionally, owners can enjoy a premium camping experience with Under Canvas, which offers upscale accommodations at popular recreational sites.
Looking ahead, Rivian is set to introduce the Airstream Basecamp 20Xe electric travel trailer, equipped with a 10.3 kWh battery pack and a 3,000-watt inverter, enabling travelers to power their appliances and devices without disconnecting from the comforts of modern living.
These developments collectively enhance Rivian’s appeal to eco-conscious adventurers seeking a seamless blend of technology and outdoor exploration.
