The State of Play event held by Sony has been the chosen stage for SEGA to officially announce Sonic X Shadow Generations. In addition to its announcement, we also have a trailer and a release window: autumn 2024.
After Sonic Superstars and Sonic Frontiers, SEGA wants to continue fighting with the super-sonic blue hedgehog. Now we have this remaster, which has received a quite impressive facelift, as well as additional content. Below, we leave you the trailer for you to enjoy it yourself.
The story of Sonic X Shadow Generations revolves around Sonic and his friends, whose universe is plunged into chaos due to the appearance of temporal holes created by an evil power. Throughout the game, we will see many familiar faces from the franchise, including a classic version of Sonic.
Sonic X Shadow Generations will also include a new campaign focused on Shadow where we will be able to play as him. His return will make him team up with Sonic, in addition to carrying out his adventure in parallel. For now, we know that the title will arrive on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, but we will also see it on Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
