The mid-season update, titled Season 2 Reloaded, for Call of Duty in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, is expected on February 20. This update will bring new melee weapons, maps, and limited-time events that will attract players’ attention. Activision has hinted that the season will be centered around a ninja theme, which has fueled rumors of a possible crossover with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
An update loaded with new content
Among the confirmed news, the Bullet map will be introduced, set in a bullet train and available in 6v6 and 2v2 Gunfight modes, as well as Grind, a skatepark that fans will remember from Black Ops 2. New melee weapons will also be added, which could include katanas, sais, nunchakus, a bo staff, and even a skateboard. The event related to the Ninja Turtles suggests the arrival of operator packs inspired by the popular characters from pop culture.
Additionally, a new perk called Hunter’s Instinct will be implemented, which will allow players to mark enemies upon eliminating an opponent, as well as Low Profile, which will enhance movement while the player is crouched or on the ground. These changes aim to optimize gameplay and improve the overall player experience.
Despite the enthusiasm for the new additions, most of the update is expected to focus on gameplay improvements and anti-cheat updates. However, expectations for a new Zombies map are low, given that The Tomb was introduced at the start of the season. With the update arriving on February 20, players are eager to uncover all the secrets and new features that this new phase of the season will bring.
