This weekend the D23 has been celebrated. This has left us with numerous announcements in the world of cinema and animation, but also in the world of video games. Because if there is something that Disney is passionate about, apart from traditional audiovisuals, it is video games. And if there is a video game that seems to understand each other like no other, that is Fortnite.
Fortnite will have a collaboration soon with Marvel. Named Fortnite x Marvel: Absolute Doom, it will start on August 16th and its main interest is that it will introduce two characters that everyone is looking forward to seeing: Gwenpool and Doctor Doom. Now characterized in the movies by Robert Downey Jr.
Due to the fact that many Marvel characters have appeared in Fortnite in the past, the plan is for this collaboration to feature lesser-known characters from the franchise. Additionally, due to the popularity of the X-Men ’97 series, there will also be new skins inspired by the world’s most famous mutants. So far, Cyclops, Jubilee, and Colossus have been confirmed, but there are still more characters to be announced.
Once again, you won’t have to wait long to enjoy this crossover. It will be on August 16th and, as in previous occasions, it will come with its own battle pass. So, if you want to get everything, get ready to farm and make sure you don’t miss any of the rewards of this new season.
