Amazon Prime Gaming has announced the availability of seven free games for subscribers during the month of July, standing out for its model that allows users to keep the titles permanently, unlike services like PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass. These latter services offer access to a vast library of games, but users do not own them, creating uncertainty about their long-term availability.

Games for all tastes

The titles that are already available include Boxes Lost Fragments, a puzzle game focused on logical challenges, and Paquerette Down the Bunburrows, which combines puzzle-solving with rabbit-catching. Starting July 17, two additional games will be added: the acclaimed Endless Space 2: Definitive Edition, a space strategy video game with very positive reviews on Steam, and Besiege: The Splintered Sea, a downloadable content for the popular siege-building title.

Among this month’s offerings, Venba stands out, a game that explores cultural identity through Indian cuisine, which has gained admiration for its artistic presentation. The I Love Finding Wild Friends Collector’s Edition, a hidden object game, and Heroes of Loot, a roguelike that promises hours of fun, will also be included.

Although the selection of titles may seem limited compared to previous months, users are advised to keep an eye on Amazon Prime Day from July 8 to 11, as it is rumored that more games could be added to the catalog. This strategy by Amazon underscores its intention to compete in the subscription market, offering not only access but true ownership of the purchased games.
