The protagonist Henry from Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has sparked a debate among players due to his initial appearance, which is characterized by being covered in dirt and blood. Many are wondering if Henry, whom fans have seen in less glamorous moments, can ever achieve the status of “king of fashion” in the game. In light of this situation, the modder known as Laie has presented a solution that promises to transform Henry’s style.
A mod to make Henry stop being so creepy
The Outer Garments mod allows players to equip Henry with a variety of upper garment pieces, based on exclusive NPC assets and recolored add-ons. This addition not only enhances his appearance but also promises to significantly elevate his swag. Laie has expressed his discontent over the absence of certain clothing pieces, such as gambesons, pourpoints, and caftans that were present in the first installment of the saga and are highly valued by players.
The new outfits can be purchased at the armory located northeast of the fountain in Kittenberg, and they are of level 4 quality. Laie has pointed out that, despite the variety of clothing options in KCD2, many of these outfits are not seen throughout a normal playthrough, which is disappointing for those who have dedicated hours to the game. “After hundreds of hours in KCD1, I came away thinking that the combat vest was the best piece among all the fashion options,” Laie commented, adding that its absence in KCD2 is noticeable.
In addition to the Outer Garments mod, Laie has also released a supplement titled Refined Garments, which introduces new coats, hoods, and gloves for Henry. Those interested in enhancing their character’s wardrobe can explore more options on the Nexus Mods mod page, where they will find an expanded selection to elevate Henry’s style in this medieval world. Included is one to get a haircut that matches his new clothing.
