The protagonist, Jun, has two companions by his side during the battle, and the video highlights how special skills and strategies are essential to achieve victory. Additionally, a tool known as ‘railclaw’ is introduced, which allows players to navigate the environment, although some critics suggest that a more conventional name, like grappling hook, could have been chosen instead. Ancient sanctuaries are also mentioned where players can obtain powers or weapons by solving puzzles, suggesting a focus on exploration and problem-solving.
Despite how promising it seems, the author of the review expressed moderate disappointment, noting that while the game looks “good,” it fails to impress when compared to other recently revealed titles. As the release date approaches, Archetype is expected to share more content and details about the game during the summer. Although no specific date has been set, the release of Exodus is planned for early 2027 and can already be added to the wishlist on Steam.
With these updates and the planned follow-up, fans remain curious and hope that the upcoming revelations will provide a more complete insight into what Exodus has to offer.
