The plot revolves around a Japanese salaryman reincarnated as Tanya Degurechaff, a young orphan who becomes a cold soldier in a war-torn world, dealing with moral dilemmas and constant threats to her life.

The return of the series will feature the participation of the original creative team, although with a new director, Takayuki Yamamoto, who will take the reins of the production. Aoi Yuki will return to voice Tanya, accompanied by other voice actors such as Saori Hayami and Shinichiro Miki, among others.
