Warner Bros.’ decision to make the sequel available on Netflix aims to increase its visibility as preparations for the filming of Dune 3 are underway, scheduled for this summer, with a release anticipated for December 2026, although it does not yet have a confirmed official date.

Dune 3 won’t take long. Let the rhythm not stop

This move is strategic, given that Dune 2 was released exclusively in theaters, unlike Dune, which was launched simultaneously on Max.
