Nintendo has announced the official release of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition for next March, an enhanced version of the acclaimed game that debuted on Wii U a decade ago. This new installment will be released on March 19 and is a great opportunity to enjoy it since it did not achieve this recognition on Wii U.
One of the great titles of Nintendo Switch
The franchise Xenoblade Chronicles, although not the largest from Nintendo, has a very dedicated fan base. Since its inception in 2010, the series has had only four installments, excluding remakes and remasters. With the release of this Definitive Edition, fans will have the opportunity to rediscover Xenoblade Chronicles X, which is known for its vast open world and complex side quests.
This title will be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch console, which means it will not be available on other platforms. However, those who purchase the game now will also be able to enjoy it on the future Nintendo Switch 2 console. Players will be able to buy and preload the game from the Nintendo digital store, facilitating immediate access to the launch.
Players are expected to invest between 50 and 200 hours to complete Xenoblade Chronicles X, depending on how much optional content they choose to explore. The definitive edition not only preserves the appeal of the original but also promises to add more additional content. The download of the game on the Switch will take up approximately 13.5 GB, which may require users to manage their device’s storage.
The possibility of a new remastering of the Xenoblade Chronicles series generates anticipation, as many players eagerly await new adventures in the vast world of Mira.
