While we all assumed that we would see a spring event from Apple in the coming weeks, it seems that the company will opt for a more discreet approach to the presentation of its new products. According to Mark Gurman’s publication in his weekly newsletter, Apple will not organize a traditional event to present its highly anticipated new iPad and Mac. Instead, it is expected that the company will announce these products through a series of videos and various marketing campaigns.
No event, but with several surprises
What are we waiting for? Rumors suggest that we could be about to see the arrival of the new iPad Pro and iPad Air models, along with updates to the MacBook range. Specifically, we expect the new iPad Pro to not only be thinner, but also come equipped with the new M3 chip, OLED displays, and a horizontally oriented front camera, similar to the iPad 10, significantly improving the video calling experience. We would also see two new iPad Air models, one of them being 12.9 inches.
In addition to the iPads, it is rumored that Apple is preparing to launch new models of MacBook Air with M3 chips, which promise significant improvements in performance and energy efficiency. The presentation of new accessories is also expected, such as a redesigned Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro and at least one new version of the Apple Pencil.
These are very interesting news, but apparently, they will not have their announcement at an event. One that, if held, would have been between March and April, but its absence does not seem to delay the schedule at all. So much so that, according to MacRumors, a launch will take place this same week.
And we are talking about “one” launch, because in addition to the list of potential new products, a new color for the iPhone 15 and also new colors for Apple Watch straps and iPhone cases must be added. In this sense, Apple could either launch all the elements at once or distribute the presentations over different days.
In any case, although the presentation of Apple’s new products for this spring may not follow the traditional format we are accustomed to, the excitement and expectation around what the company has prepared have not diminished in the slightest. It will be a good idea to be more than attentive, because this same week we could have news about the new iPad, Mac, and perhaps some unexpected surprises.
