Great news for all of us who hold Fallout dear in our hearts for various reasons (everyone chooses their favorite game, that’s how it goes). The official profile of the Fallout series has released a brief teaser revealing the most important detail of all: the release date. According to it, Fallout will premiere on April 12, 2024.
The video lasts just 24 seconds and showcases one of the game’s most iconic elements, the Pip-Boy interface. While this is displayed, a Vault Boy enters the scene and calmly types out the release date until he reveals that it’s April 12 of the next year.
Details about this production are really scarce. Produced by Amazon Prime Video, it is supposed to be a completely original story that will heavily feature the game’s storyline. In fact, the script will revolve around characters residing in Vault 33 in Los Angeles. Not much else is known.
Needless to say, Amazon is investing a lot of money in this series. In fact, the masterminds behind it are none other than Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan (yes, Christopher Nolan’s brother), two personalities well-known to TV series enthusiasts thanks to Westworld. They are joined by others such as Todd Howard, the head of Bethesda, and James Altman, serving as a producer.
The filming of the Fallout series began around mid-2022. Throughout this year, very few details have been revealed, aside from some leaked images on various online platforms. We are eagerly awaiting more information and, above all, the opportunity to see the series’ first trailer.
