The popular Apple TV series Ted Lasso has confirmed its return with a fourth season, which will air this coming summer. After a third season that seemed marked by a conclusion, the series starring Jason Sudeikis opens a new chapter focusing on a women’s second division soccer team. This transition promises to be a journey of personal growth and risk, following the life and coaching philosophy that has resonated with fans since its premiere.

Focused on women’s soccer

The synopsis of the new season indicates that Ted and his team will learn to throw without looking, a nod to the evolution both in the sport and in their personal lives. Alongside Sudeikis, several regular actors from Richmond will return, including Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, and Brett Goldstein, who will provide continuity to the narrative while new characters are introduced into the mix.

Among the new cast members are Tanya Reynolds and Grant Feely, the latter will play Henry, Ted’s son, a role that was previously portrayed by Gus Turner.

Additionally, Jack Burditt joins the team as executive producer, a change aimed at filling the void left by Bill Lawrence, who, although still involved as an executive producer, has been busy with other projects. As for the writing team, Sara Walker and Phoobe Walsh are joining, and they will work alongside Brett Goldstein.

With so much noise generated by this return, “Ted Lasso” fans can expect more laughs and reflections in this new stage, which promises to be as unforgettable as the previous ones.
