Who wouldn’t like a good handful of new maps and weapons? Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone arrives on January 28, promising a new gaming experience with a variety of exciting content. Activision has revealed the trailer for the new season, which offers a look at the new multiplayer maps, as well as DLC weapons and operator skins. The trailer also provides a first look at the gameplay and Wonder Weapons in the new Zombies map. Almost nothing.
Killing in Droves
Thematically, the season focuses on operators with a ninja aesthetic who wield katanas. Just as it sounds. The trailer showcases three new multiplayer maps: Dealership, set in a car dealership; Lifeline, which evokes the famous Hijacked map experience from Black Ops 2, but on a superyacht; and Bounty, about which little information has been revealed so far. These three maps will be available from launch, while two additional maps will be introduced mid-season.
Regarding the Zombies mode, a new map called The Tomb has been introduced, featuring unique Wonder Weapons. These are four staffs reminiscent of those from the popular Black Ops 2 map Origins, so you should hurry to get them. This gameplay mechanic and setting promise to offer fresh experiences for fans of the cooperative mode.
Additionally, the new season will bring several improvements, such as the option to disable cross-play in ranked game modes, a change that many players have requested. The new features also include the PPSh-41 and the FAL rifle as new weapons, thus expanding the weapon options for users.
Activision has confirmed these details, although it is rumored that more surprises could be announced in the coming days, giving fans even more reasons to be eager for its arrival.
