Since the release of the fifth edition of Dungeons & Dragons there have been hundreds of role-playing games that have adapted the Wizards of the Coast system with ease. It makes sense: it’s easy to use, fun to play and easy to come back to. What we probably didn’t expect is that Star Wars would drop all its previous game systems and also focus on the original role-playing game’s d20 system.

In 2027 both the rulebook and Star Wars, Tyro Squadron: Adventures, the first book for GMs set in this new system, will arrive in stores all over the world. Honestly, even if you don’t like playing role-playing games, you should have this book if you’re a Star Wars fan, because it features absolutely mind-blowing artwork and, well, new adventures! If you ended up sick of Episodes VII to IX, this is a golden opportunity to show that the Force is with you by rolling a crit.
