A very macabre villain
This new series marks the return of Daredevil after its success on Netflix, but this time as an original Disney Plus production under the Marvel Studios banner. According to the studio, although it won’t be necessary to have watched the previous three seasons to enjoy this new installment, Born Again will maintain a connection with the Netflix series, providing an excellent opportunity for both new viewers and veterans of the franchise.
In addition to Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, the return of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/Punisher, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Poindexter has been confirmed. Furthermore, this star-studded cast is joined by new faces, such as Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, and Ayelet Zurer.

But the series not only brings back iconic characters, but it will also introduce Muse, one of Marvel’s most macabre and disturbing villains. This serial killer considers murder as a form of art and in his comic debut, he was characterized by creating a mural using the blood of one hundred missing people. With such a dark villain, Daredevil: Born Again promises to offer one of the most macabre plots in the MCU.
