Fortnite continues to include more and more events and content. If recently the game received two new Dragon Ball characters, included the rapper The Kid Laroi and we could see all the news of Chapter 4, since February 14 we can also enjoy its new event: “Most Wanted”.
In this event, which will take place from February 14 to February 28, 2023, we will have to complete a series of missions in order to increase our infamy level and unlock new rewards for the game, including new weapons and reality augmentations.
By defeating the bosses of the Coldbloods, a new group of enemies, we will be able to obtain access cards that will allow us to enter the valuable chambers of the Coldbloods, where we will find an impressive arsenal of weapons that we will be able to “subtract”.
The new weapons that we will be able to get in the Most Wanted event are: “stolen breaching shotgun”, “stolen red-eye explosive rifle”, “stolen speeding shotgun”, “stolen automatic reloading submachine gun” and “stolen scrolling submachine gun”. We will also be able to obtain these weapons by other means.
Most Wanted adds a new mechanic: the “bad reputation”, which will be reflected in the players’ HUD through flame icons. Although increasing this level will have a negative impact on us, making us more hostile to the Coldbloods and making us visible on the minimap for the rest of the players, it will also have a series of advantages:
- With one flame, the enemies you eliminate will release more bars.
- With two flames, your movement speed will increase by 15% and you will regenerate up to 100 health points while you are not in combat.
- After getting three flames, your movement speed will increase by 20% and you will regenerate up to 100 health points and 50 shield points while you are not in combat.
- Finally, with four flames, your movement speed will increase by 25% and you will regenerate up to 100 health points and 100 shield points while you are not in combat.
The new Fortnite event also includes new reality boosts. These are “exotic theft” (you get a random stolen exotic weapon), “extra bullet” (your shooter rifle will have a space for additional ammo in its magazine), “locksmith grade” (you get 2 keys to open holocofres) and “last chance” (the last two bullets in the pistol magazine inflict additional damage).
In addition, we will be able to carry out new missions, which will be divided into the following sets: “Information and reconnaissance”, “Through the big door”, “With stealth”, “Assault on the camera” and “Flawless escape”. This will allow us to get backpacking accessories such as the “Hundred Carat Skull”, as well as accumulate infamy points, with which we will be able to buy various rewards, including the Golden Ace suit and the Palanca guardian pickaxe.
