Apple TV+ has set its September 2026 lineup, with Slow Horses season 6, Mayday, Last Seen, and Brothers leading another month centered on the prestige English-language originals the service has built its identity around.
Per Apple TV+, the month starts with Mayday , the action-comedy film starring Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh, on September 4. Last Seen, an Australian thriller led by Patrick Brammall, arrives on September 9. Then Slow Horses returns on September 16, with six-episode run. It opens with one episode and continues weekly through October 21, adapting Mick Herron’s Joe Country and Slough House.
Brothers lands next on September 23, with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson playing fictionalized versions of themselves. Slow Horses, meanwhile, remains one of the biggest pieces of Apple TV+’s lineup, helped by six seasons in four years, Gary Oldman’s steadying presence, and that mix of sharp writing, dark humor, and spy-thriller drive that keeps the show moving.
If you watch Apple TV+ often, this batch is probably worth a look. You can also see where the service’s priorities still sit: mostly US, UK, and English-language programming. Women in Blue stands out as the main ongoing Spanish-language title, and Apple TV+’s announcement offered very little detail on any major new non-English releases.
