Sony, like everyone else, knows that we all love free things. And even more so if those things are video games. PlayStation has launched its PlayStation Stars program, an initiative designed to reward players for completing campaigns and making purchases on its platform. This program allows users to accumulate points that can later be redeemed for store credit, representing an interesting opportunity for video game enthusiasts. The proposal is accessible to all users, not just PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Who Said Free?
With the program, players can earn points by purchasing digital games and meeting certain requirements, such as playing in couch co-op mode. This February, two attractive campaigns are introduced, each offering 50 points. The first reward is obtained by purchasing any of the following titles: ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered, Alien: Rogue Incursion, or LEGO Horizon Adventures. The second campaign also rewards with 50 points, this time for participating in specific games with friends in couch co-op mode.
The eligible games for this second campaign include popular titles such as Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Cat Quest II, Portal Knights, Everybody’s Golf, Overcooked: All You Can Eat, and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. To earn the points, it is essential to activate the task through the PlayStation app before playing or purchasing, otherwise, the respective points will not be credited.
Once accumulated, the points can be redeemed for store credit. Regularly checking the app can be beneficial for players looking to maximize their rewards before making a purchase, so it is advisable to keep exploring the offers available in the program.
