As you may already know, OpenAI, creators of the creature, have limited ChatGPT to not exceed certain aspects, both in explicit language and in certain topics. However, Dan is the free and “uncensored” version of all this—in fact, his name comes from the phrase “Do Anything Now.”

The surprise of this version of ChatGPT jailbreak came when Lisa, a computer science student from California and originally from Beijing, told her more than 943,000 followers how well she got along with Dan in terms of their relationship. Shortly after sharing this on her social media, the student gained another 230,000 followers, but most importantly, it generated a great phenomenon in China.

At this moment, in China, Dan has become so popular that even women are “disillusioned by real-life experiences,” as noted by the BBC.

Dan is kind, provides emotional support, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In this stage of life, even simple things are hard to come by.
