The latest major update of Zenless Zone Zero, version 1.3 (known as Virtual Revenge), is now available and brings a lot of content for new and veteran players.

The main novelties are two new playable agents: Tsukishiro Yanagi and Lighter. Let’s explain how these two playable agents differ.

  • Yanagi is an S-rank agent of the Electrical Anomaly and is part of the Section 6 faction. Her combat style offers multiple combat stances, in addition to the ability to activate the special Polarity Disorder effect to inflict a huge amount of damage to enemies with the anomaly.
  • Lighter is another S-rank agent, this time from Stun Fire and part of the Sons of Calydon gang. He is equipped with elemental attribute boosters, with the ability to recover Morale as his companions consume energy. With enough morale, he can enter a morale burst state, which greatly increases his power.

What we know about version 1.3 of Zenless Zone Zero

Two new W-rank engines have also been introduced, the Anomaly Timeweaver and the Stun Blazing Laurel. In addition to two new A-rank Bangboos, the friendly Babbieboo and the Knightboo. The Knightboo can now be obtained through the new in-game event “The Mystery of the Arpeggio Rift.”

As expected, the update also includes new content, such as the special episode “Virtual Revenge.” This is in addition to a new agent story for Lighter.

All this adds to the updates of existing areas, such as the new San-Z Studio building in Lumina Square, which is accompanied by a new display in Random Play that can be used to showcase the items obtained there.

A snack truck has also arrived at Lumina Square, but it will only be present during the limited event “When Snacks Knock on the Door.” A flurry of events has also begun, one of which allows you to get ten items of the Encrypted Master Ribbon just by logging in every day.
