Spider-Man Noir has just been confirmed by Amazon Prime Video as one of their new series projects. Starring Nicolas Cage, the fiction will adapt the original pulpier Spidey comic in a way we have never seen before. After the success of Cage’s performance in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the actor will make the leap to physical performance in this adaptation.
Undoubtedly, this project is one of the most ambitious for both Sony and Amazon Prime Video. But what do we know exactly about the series, beyond the fact that Nic Cage will appear? Let’s try to break it down.
The team behind Spider-Man Noir
Undoubtedly, the team behind the series seems to be up to the task. The co-showrunners and executive producers are Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher), and joining them as producers are none other than Chris Miller, Phil Lord, and Amy Pascal, the main culprits behind the Miles Morales movies.

Although to know a little more about Spider-Man Noir you just have to go to a comic book store, for now we can learn a little more about the series through a logline they have added:
“Noir tells the story of an aging and unlucky private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to deal with his past life as the city’s only superhero.”
