Everything we know about The First Omen, one of the most terrifying horror movies of this year

The Omen is a classic horror film that marked an era in 1976 thanks to its plot full of iconic moments and mystery. It became a cult work that has transcended generations, and even generated a kind of new terror monster: the Antichrist.

This being has continued to be explored even in remakes like The Omen from 2006. And now its prequel arrives, The First Omen. Directed by Arkasha Stevenson, the film is scheduled to be released on April 5th. For now, its trailer couldn’t be more spectacular and full of tension:

A very dark movie

Starring Nell Tiger Free, whom we know from a somewhat similar role in Servant, the story takes us to the streets of Rome, where a young American woman embarks on a spiritual quest that leads her to the Church in search of redemption. However, her path to enlightenment takes a twist when she discovers that the institution is infiltrated by a dark organization.

At the heart of this intrigue lies a sinister plan: the birth of an evil figure destined to change the course of history. This story immerses us in the origin of Damien, an iconic character in horror cinema, revealing the secrets and machinations behind his rise to darkness.
