Google has announced new plans for enterprise customers using Gemini, its artificial intelligence that aims to monopolize its entire business line. For Google, everything is AI.
Earlier this year, Bard was replaced by Gemini and AI technology also arrived at Google Workspace. With today’s announcement, Gemini for Google Workspace replaces Duet AI for Google Workspace.
Now, with the Gemini Business plan, users can access a standalone experience where they can chat with Gemini, among other features.
Gemini Business for €20 per month
The American company mentions in their blog that 88% of small and medium-sized businesses want to use generative AI to optimize data analysis, customer service, email writing, and management of other work-related tasks. The blog explained the installation of Gemini for the workspace, stating:
“Today we are launching Gemini Business, a lower-priced offering to help large and small organizations get started with generative AI in Workspace. This plan gives them access to Gemini for Workspace – including experiences like Help me write in Docs and Gmail, Enhanced Smart Fill in Sheets, and image generation in Slides – for just $20 per user per month with an annual commitment”.
Gemini Enterprise for €30 per month
This replaces Duet AI for Workspace Enterprise and offers the same services as Gemini Business along with several additional ones. The price of the technology is $30 per month for each client who subscribes annually. Duet AI customers will automatically switch to Gemini Enterprise plans.
Gemini Enterprise includes language translation for AI-powered meeting captions. This means that Gemini can translate content in over 100 language pairs. Soon, it will also take meeting notes for attendees.
In addition, Google allows corporate customers to chat with Gemini. The standalone experience uses Ultra 1.0 technology and is starting to roll out for Gemini Business and Enterprise plans.
According to the company, the AI 1.0 Ultra model is their largest and “most capable” model, capable of holding long conversations, writing code, and performing other complex tasks. Google has also explained that conversations will not be used to improve the machine learning model or for advertising purposes.
