Game of Thrones: Legends, the mobile puzzle RPG, is adding Lyanna Mormont as a playable champion on September 9 through an update called Game of Thrones: The Lady of Bear Island.
So no, this isn’t Lyanna somehow returning in a new HBO storyline. She’s being added to Game of Thrones: Legends as part of the game’s collectible lineup, joining Brienne of Tarth and a new version of Ned Stark in a Stark faction expansion. The team behind Game of Thrones: Legends describes Lyanna Mormont as a tactical character who works best through coordination, not raw power. Her arrival also lines up with the broader Game of Thrones push in games right now, and a lot of the reaction online seems tied to how fondly people remember her fierce, blunt leadership and that final battle scene, even though she wasn’t on screen for long. There’s also the PC RTS Game of Thrones: War for Westeros, which is still slated for 2027.
If Northern team comps built around synergy are your thing, and you tend to stick with live-service games that keep introducing new combinations and limited-time content, this update will probably be up your alley.
Game of Thrones: Legends is available on mobile, and you’ll be able to add Lyanna Mormont, the Lady of Bear Island, to your roster once the update goes live on September 9.
