The Halo Infinite modding community has once again showcased their creativity with their latest project: a mod based on Helldivers 2. In doing so, its creators join the frenzy that Sony’s title has generated, which continues to captivate players.
The Forge Falcons, a group of creators with a lot of experience in creating mods and maps for Halo Infinite, announced on X the release of Helljumpers. “We are excited to finally show everyone this, we have worked very hard over the past two months to achieve the design we wanted for this experience.”
The group of creators hinted in February 2024 their intentions to develop what we now know as Helljumpers. However, it was this week when The Forge Falcons released an update to announce the progress of the mod. Just like in Helldivers, those who decide to try Helljumpers will have cooperative PvE, stratagems that activate support from orbit, procedurally generated objectives, and much, much more.
The official account of The Forge Falcons states that Helljumpers will be released in early June, although it will be “delayed a few more weeks” if development requires it. On the other hand, the final gameplay trailer will be released sometime in May. Meanwhile, the group will show small teasers from time to time.
Helljumpers has been created entirely with the Forge Mode, the native level editor of Halo Infinite. Since its release in 2022, Forge Mode has allowed players to unleash their creativity with a set of powerful tools to customize levels, gameplay mechanics, and much more.
