Call of Duty is a well-oiled machine. It never stops, it can never stop, it never will as long as Activision is in charge. That’s why it shouldn’t surprise us that the second half of season 5 is coming like clockwork. And the news about what it will include is also coming. That’s why we’re here today. To tell you everything that will be added in this second half of the season, no less juicy than the first.
The most striking thing is that we have four new or returning game modes. The first of them is Cyber Attack, where we will have to locate and disable the enemy’s data center. Not without first obtaining the EMP device. Another similar one, but faster, is Defuse or Destroy. In each round, a bomb is deployed in one of two possible zones. Your duty is to defend it until it detonates or disarm it before time runs out.
Among the more casual modes, we also have a good selection. Fishfection, a favorite among fans, will divide the teams between those with cat heads and those with fish heads, with the latter having to infect the former by damaging them or surviving until time runs out. Paintball, on the other hand, replaces our normal bullets with paint bullets and makes a single bullet enough to eliminate the other players.
In addition, this marks the end of the Zombie mode in Modern Warfare. Operators who complete the final Story Mission will receive a cinematic conclusion, as well as the first piece necessary to access the new Dark Aether Rift. So there are plenty of reasons to go out and hunt down the remaining zombies.
This new game update will arrive on August 21st at 9am Pacific Time. Along with the aforementioned things, the update includes many more changes, which you can read on the Call of Duty website. So, whether you’re on vacation or eagerly awaiting the new release, you have one more reason to dive headfirst into this second half of the season.
