Hunter X Hunter is back. The popular manganime will receive new chapters from the hand of its creator, Yoshihiro Togashi. The mangaka has announced a new batch of chapters for his beloved manga, delighting the fans of a series that has experienced all kinds of hiatuses during its publication in recent years.
The news comes from Togashi himself. The mangaka has posted an image on Twitter in which he makes it clear that he is working again on Hunter X Hunter. Although the photograph only shows the bottom left corner of an unfinished page, something that is usual for Togashi, the post reveals that this is chapter 405. That means that, at least, there will be five more chapters of Hunter X Hunter in the future, since currently the publication is at number 400.
One of the most spectacular mangas of the 21st century is back
Togashi is one of the few mangakas who is active on Twitter. The author joined the social network in May 2022, when he posted a simple sketch of a tree, but at that moment it went viral and, since then, he has already gained almost 3 million followers on the newly named X.
In 2023, Togashi used his social network to announce new chapters of the manga, a decalogue that was published in June of last year. At that time, its publication was stopped at number 400, due to the creator’s well-known health problems. However, as soon as he was somewhat recovered, Togashi announced that he was already working on chapter 401, thus making it clear that he was not going to end the story there. Now, we know that he has reached 405... although we don’t know when we will be able to read them. Presumably, we will have more of Hunter X Hunter in the summer.
