Vanity Fair magazine has just released its new cover dedicated to Chris Hemsworth, an actor who will play the villain in Mad Max: Furiosa this year. However, the actor is best known for his role as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so they have taken the opportunity to interview his co-stars in the article.
As highlighted in the article, it was at Chris Evans’ wedding last September when they spoke with them, and some of the quotes that came out of there are unique to fans. What stands out most in the article is that it was the first time Hemsworth and many others saw Jeremy Renner since his accident, which was a great positive shock to see him in such good condition.

A connection that will never end
“He sent us all a kind of drugged, hospitalized and disheveled image and said, ‘All good, guys’.” “And then I didn’t hear from him for a while because he was in the middle of everything, until Evans’ wedding,” Hemsworth explains about Jeremy Renner’s accident.
“If there is one feature that we would all agree is essential, it is resilience,” adds Robert Downey Jr. about his colleagues in The Avengers. “To see Renner embody that literally, and in the context of what was basically a Portuguese-American wedding, was mind-blowing. Fully recovered and ready to celebrate. So yes: miracles do exist.”

“One of the first ones who came to see me in my hospital room was Anthony Mackie. He was in Las Vegas,” Renner adds about that emotional moment. “He came running and he was the first person I saw when I woke up. And it’s not like we talk all the time. We don’t spend much time together, because the problem with having actor friends is that everyone is very busy and now we are all parents and we never see each other. We rarely talk to each other, but the connection we have is something that will always exist“.
