Two-time Survivor contestant Keith Nale has died at the age of 62, his family confirmed today. He was not well known in Spain, but his figure did mark millions of fans around the world.
Keith participated in two seasons of Survivor, Survivor: San Juan del Sur and Survivor: Cambodia. He was a contestant on Survivor: San Juan del Sur with his father.
During his time on Survivor: San Juan del Sur, Keith was considered one of the first contestants to leave the competition early on, but he managed to become one of the final four contestants thanks to his skill in the immunity challenges and that he had secretly become a viewer favorite.
Returning for Survivor: Cambodia, Keith played a similar game to the previous one, but tried to be more collaborative. He played a strategic game and eventually switched alliances.
He was eliminated just two days before the Final Tribal Council after Kelley Wentworth, the majority’s main target, won immunity. Jeremy Collins went on to win the season.
Wentworth took to TikTok Tuesday night to share a tribute to his late Survivor partner, writing, “Keith – a man with the purest heart, who brought humor at times when it was needed most.”
“I am grateful to have had the opportunity to meet Keith and share memories together on the beaches of Nicaragua and Cambodia. My heart goes out to the entire Nale family,” she added via Twitter. “This is a devastating loss.”

For those who don’t know, Survivor is a popular American reality show broadcast by CBS channel in which a group of participants are abandoned in a remote location for 39 days. The goal: to win a million dollars.
