The RAM Crisis Due to AI
This adjustment responds to a complicated period for PC players, who face high technical requirements and a saturation of poorly optimized titles in the market. The price crisis in RAM, exacerbated by the growing demand for artificial intelligence, has intensified the pressure on users.
Although the new standard is not as low as the 8 GB required by LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga three years ago, the reduction is a significant step towards optimization.
Even so, the revealed specifications are not final. TT Games has indicated that the development of the game has not yet reached its gold phase, and the remaining months until its release in May will be crucial for making further adjustments to the game’s open world, which could lead to new modifications to the requirements.
Players have also expressed their concern about the use of the Unreal Engine 5 instead of NTT, Traveller’s Tales’ proprietary engine, suggesting that this could be one of the causes of the initial inflated requirements.
